What To Do With Worry

Our very awesome intern London shared with us how we can shake worry in our life. We read through Matt 6:25-33, and were encouraged that God cares for the birds of the earth and clothes the flowers of field - so how much more will He take care of us? We can get so caught up in stress and anxiety - with school, family life, sports, relationship chaos - that we forget who is in charge and how much our Heavenly Father cares for us. Are you worried about anything right now? Read  and re-read Matt 6:25-33 and be reminded that you are cared for. What's key in our worry, is that we don't forget to leave out verse 33, when Jesus says,

"seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

God isn't a magician up in the sky that takes care of your every single need, even if you choose to not have a relationship with Him... He is gracious and merciful enough to bless us all with life and sustain us for living, but if we want relief from worry, we must trust in God and seek Him! He will care for you, you are loved - never forget that - but seek Him first for all your needs!
